Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat is a pre coat, for surfaces such as hardwood, iron, steel, softwood and timber, before a water based top coat like the Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Water Based Gloss, is applied.

Johnstone's Water Based Undercoat is a low odour, quick drying paint, ideal for using with water based or solvent based topcoats and is suited for use on interior or exterior wood and metal.

Johnstone's Undercoat Water Based is available ready mixed in Brilliant White but it can also be mixed into over 500 different colours from the Johnstone's Trade colour range.

For an oil based undercoat, use Johnstone’s Trade Professional Undercoat, or for the exerior, use Johnstone’s Trade Stormshield Flexible Primer Undercoat.

Some variants are non-returnable.

Application Instructions

Paint must be mixed well before use and applied using a brush. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or in damp conditions. A quality synthetic brush will produce the best results.

Cleaning

Immediately after use, clean equipment with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

Storage

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.

Disposal
