Osmo Decking Oil penetrates the wood, nourishing and protecting it from within. It creates a microporous finish that allows the wood to breathe and helps regulate moisture, reducing the risk of swelling or shrinking. The oil also contains UV filters that protect the wood from sun damage.
While Osmo Decking Oil is primarily designed for decking, it can also be used on other exterior wood surfaces such as fences, garden furniture, pergolas, and wooden pathways, to provide both protection and enhancement.
Yes, Osmo Decking Oil is suitable for use on various types of decking wood, including softwoods and hardwoods such as pine, spruce, larch, cedar, teak, and more.
The frequency of reapplication depends on various factors such as weather conditions, foot traffic, and the quality of the wood. As a general guideline, it is recommended to reapply Osmo Decking Oil every 1-2 years or as needed to maintain optimal protection and appearance.
