Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat is a water based quick drying undercoat for use on exterior trim and woodwork.

Designed as part of the Dulux Weathershield exterior paint system. It has been developed specifically to work with the Weathershield Trade quick drying top coats QD Gloss and QD Satin to provide flexible, durable protection for exterior woodwork.

Applied according to the Dulux guidelines, Dulux Trade Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat used in conjunction with a Weathershield topcoat, can provide up to 6 years protection.

Available ready mixed in Brilliant White or we can mix to order in a wide range of options from the Dulux Trade colour palette.

Application Instructions

Application: Brush only. Do not spray. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution. New or bare surfaces: Prime all bare wood with 2 coats of Weathershield Preservative Primer +(BP) followed by 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Previously painted surfaces: 1 coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Finishing: Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats, then apply the appropriate Weathershield topcoat.

Cleaning

After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with water.

Storage

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.

Disposal
