Armstead Trade Undercoat is designed to be used as a base coat for finishing coats to follow.
It is a solvent based undercoat suitable for use on internal and external wood, metal and suitably primed masonry surfaces.
Armstead Undercoat is recommended to be used with Armstead Trade High Gloss paint where a high gloss finish and durability is required.
It can also be used with other Armstead finishes such as satin and eggshell however, where a water based top coat is required ( Durable Acrylic Eggshell, Quick Dry Satin, Quick Dry Gloss ), use Armstead Trade Quick Drying Wood Primer Undercoat on wooden surfaces.
Undercoat has good opacity, covering existing colour and it has great adhesion to help the finish last longer.
It is available ready mixed in white or dark grey or it can also be mixed into a colour of your choice.
Covers up to 16m2 per litre per coat. 1-2 coats recommended.
After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with brush cleaner.
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
